I stayed home with our kids. Home schooled them. Managed a showroom in downtown Atlanta in the Gift Mart for awhile. Decided I wanted my own business. Opened a gift shop with a cafe upstairs. Worked many, many hours. Decided that I had enough of that, so I went back to school to update my college certifications to work in a lab.

My favorite memories of school were of choir. I loved to sing and still do. I also remember one very snowy day riding to school on the bus. Getting to school and hardly anybody was there so...Donna Poljack and I walked all the way down 51 to the Eat n Park. We had 27 cents between us. We asked the waitress what we could get for 27cents. She brought us two tea cups, hot water and one tea bag. We were freezing and grateful. Not enough money for tip though!
