
PAUL DERING -- 1 June 1952 - 28 November 1985
Paul Dering, Apollo -- Paul Brian Dering, 33, of 718 Zubal Road, Apollo, died Thursday, (Nov. 28,1985) @ 4:29a.m. in an auto accident on Route 286 @ Hialeah Drive, Plum. He was born June 1, 1952, in Pittsburgh to Gustave O. and Isabel Peterson Dering.
Mr. Dering was formerly employed as a laborer at Westinghouse in East Pittsburgh. He was a 1970 graduate of Churchill Area.
Besides his parents of Forest Hills, he is survived by his wife, Joyce Schwarz Dering: one brother, David A. Dering of Penn Hills, and two sisters, Diane of Swissvale and Linda Patterson of Monroeville.
Family will receive friends today from 7 to 9pm and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm in the Robert A. Wolfe Memorial, 925 Franklin Avenue (@ Coal Street), Wilkinsburg, where a service will be conducted Monday.
Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, North Versailles.
(Linda Dering Patterson, CAHS 1979, shares some memories of her brother, Paul) -- Paul was taken from us on Thanksgiving Day in 1985; the following June he had a son born, Paul Jr. They never got to meet. Such a very sad story. His son is now a young man who is doing very well.
As for Paul, he was sooooo well-liked by everyone who knew him. He could light the room up with the smile on his face & the twinkle in his eye. He was the best brother a sister could want.
