Welcome to the Churchill Area High Class Of 1970 web site!

If you haven't yet "joined" or updated your profile, please take a few minutes now to do so.  Did you know that about 270 classmates have joined and created a profile with information about what has happened since graduation?  100 of them have added recent photographs!  And, sadly, 63 of our classmates have passed away--you can find out more about them on the "In Memory" page.

If you know other classmates who haven't joined yet, please encourage them to do so.  This website is our primary means for staying connected with each other.

Because of the ongoing challenges created by the Covid-19 virus, our 50th Class Reunion has been postponed until Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Westinghouse Lodge in Forest Hills.  The reunion will be an informal afternoon and evening event (2:00 to 9:00 PM), similar to our 45th.  We had such a good time together in 2015 that we want to basically do the same type of event for the 50th.  The $50 registration fee will include snacks, dinner, soft drinks, beer, wine, and a DJ for evening dance music.  Use the "50 Year Reunion" link on the left to register!

If you have ideas and/or want to participate in some other way in the planning of the reunion, please contact Herb Kolbe via his profile page, phone (412-427-3740) or email (!

It seems to be a good time to reflect on the purpose of this classmate web site.  Recently there have been reports of derogatory messages being sent to fellow classmates through this site.  That could not be further from the purpose of the site.

Please be advised that while site administrators cannot and do not monitor messages between classmates, reports of messages that might be construed as harrassing in nature cannot be tolerated.  Reports of inappropriate messages being sent to classmates will be taken seriously and may lead to the offending person being blocked from the site.  We have been advised that a notification such as the one that follows should be given prior to doing what we never thought would be necessary and, that is, blocking a classmate from the site.

MEMBERSHIP DISCLAIMER: All memberships may be revoked at the discretion of the Site Administrators. The privacy and security of all registered members will be considered a priority for the purpose of invitations, admittance, denials and revocations.

Please let's continue to make this a place for positive connections and shared memories!
