Lorraine Nucci (McLendon)

A note from April Ladner, Lorraine's daughter, received 5/2/20:

Hello, my name is April Ladner.  I am the daughter of Lorraine Nucci Mclendon.  She received a letter from ya'll in regard to her class reunion.  I am writing you to inform you of her passing.  My momma passed away Aug. 27, 2018 from lung cancer.  She was diagnosed in July of 2018.  She completed three weeks of radiation and the following week ended up in the hospital.  Things happened so fast from there.  My mom has shared many stories from her school days and talked about several of you.  I wanted to let ya'll know.  Best wished to you all especially with everything going on in our world at this time.

Sincerely, April Ladner

I'm so sad to learn of her passing.  I tried several times over the years to locate Lorraine, but was not successful.  We grew up on the same street in Chalfant Boro.

Sorry to hear about Lorraine’s passing. We became good friends through the softball team and enjoyed partying during our senior year and the summer after. I lost track of her when I went to college, and she enlisted. I contacted her parents before the last reunion and learned that she was living in MS. Unfortunately, she did not respond to the invitation at that time. May she Rest In Peace.

So sorry to hear about Lorraine. I remember her and Babe from high school...played basketball with Babe. Lost track of them after high school...was surprised to read Lorraine settled in the south. RIP Lorraine.
