MICHAEL S. HARRIS   (1952 - 2002)

 (Ronna Eisner Nagin shares some memories of Michael Harris)   Actually, Michael really didn't graduate from CAHS. He moved to northern Va. and graduated from a school there. I always included him in things, though, because he spent most of his school years with us, and I continued my friendship with him until he died.

His birthday was Feb 23, 1952 (always a good time for me to tease him about being a year and 5 days older than I am). He died November 3, 2002. I spent his 50th with him, and I'm so glad I did. He was healthy at that point, and if he was sick then, no one, including Michael knew it. He called me at the end of September 2002 and told me that he was in the hospital with something bad and they hadn't diagnosed it. I don't think they ever really figured out what kind of cancer he had, but it was a virulent one.....so fast and debilitating. I miss him.

He was very happy in his personal life in his last few years. He had met a woman that he totally loved and they were married ....I can't remember how long.

Professionally, he was in sales, usually something medically related.
