Charles H. Stewart, Jr., 58, of West Newton, formerly of Dormont, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016, at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital.  He was born January 15, 1958, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Charles H. and Joan Benton Stewart.  Charles was an automotive mechanic and a Navy veteran.  He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and Penguins fan, enjoyed reading about World War II, watching westerns, listening to country music and working on cars.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Amman.  He is survived by his wife, Melissa Miller Stewart; son, Jesse Stewart; brothers, Robert L. Wood and his wife Francie, David Durley and his wife Lorraine; mother-in-law Barbara Baird; numerous nieces and nephews; and his special canine friend Isabelle.
