60's: started dating my wonderful Denise...started playing sax in Jim Ehrhardt's early bands...went spelunking in PA, WV, VA, MD...got my first (part time) printing job...attended California State College, along with John Bell.........
70's: still with my beautiful Denise...began working full-time as a printer...lots of backpacking, caving, travelling from coast to coast, mostly with Denise...involved in music as a singer, songwriter, multi-instrmentalist and recording engineer, including the blues fusion project Blue Smoke (wrote or co-wrote over 200 songs)...explored the Mayan runins in Mexico...co-wrote a book of poetry........
80's: still with the love of my life, Denise...still working as a printer...hiked the Appalachian Trail, Georgia to Maine, with Denise...music: The Muddsharks, Last Chance, Dub Squad, Tempo Tantrum (3 nominations in Pittsburgh Music Awards)...earned a BS in Electrical Engineering Technology from Point Park College.........
90's: Denise and I moved to Tucson, Arizona...many trips into the beautiful, mystical desert...still working as a printer...ramped up our efforts to rescue unwanted/stray/feral companion animals and compromised wildlife, something we (mostly Denise) had been doing for a while.........
00's: still with the love of my life, my high school sweetheart, the beautiful, wonderful Denise...more animals (see Denise's profile)...started Letterpress Finesse, doing specialty and high-end printing for clients across half of the globe, producing several award-winning projects...still visit Pittsburgh once in a while, sometimes sitting in on harmonica with the Blues Orphans...occasionally work on a rural postal route, delivering mail far out into the desert...been talking with Jim Ehrhardt regularly... lately studying natural foods and nutrition, Quantum Mechanics, Zero-Point Field Theory, Paranormal Phenomena, Ancient Mystical Traditions........
