Over the last couple of years I spent a lot of time talking with Billy and trying to provide some support for his agonizing medical journey. Billy wanted so badly to beat his illness, even getting a stem cell transplant, but it was not to be. I'll miss our conversations and stories walking down memory lane of the times he spent at my house in High School. Rest in Peace, Billy. I'll miss you.

Billy was fun to pal around with. At times it could lead to trouble but nothing serious. I'm so sorry to hear that he struggled for the past few years. I hope peace and clam come quickly to his family and friends.

My condolences to Billy's family and friends. His great sense of humor got us through Hebrew school at the Hebrew Institute of Pittsburgh. Billy's Hebrew name was "Zev" which means wolf. That always stuck with me.

Billy and I knew each other since nursery school.  Since he was involved with the preservation of Pittsburgh's Jewish cemeteries, I sought his help to erect a replacement grave marker for my paternal grandmother.  His assistance rekindled our childhood friendship and the communication with each other.  Like many of his friends, I offered him support and encouragement to continue his courageous effort to deal with his health situation.  I will miss our communication and will treasure the memory of knowing him.

My sincere condolences to his family.

Billy and I were in the same biology class.  He loved cars.  I can recall his talking at length about them with Mr. Herman.

My condolensces to his family  and friends.

I didn't know Bill while at TAHS.  We connected at our 50-year reunion.  We shared our experiences living in northern California.  Bill lived and worked in Monterey; I lived and worked in San Jose.  Like so many other classmates, I tried to keep in touch and offer support and positive thoughts during his challenging times.  I will miss our conversations and the few shared laughs.  Rest in peace, Bill.  Heidi and I send heartfelt condolences to Judy and family.
