Danny Pickholtz was absolutely the best and it so saddens me to hear of his death.   He had perfect pitch.  He could play absolutely anything on the piano after hearing it once.   And around me, he was always happy and positive.  Loved that guy and have talked about him a lot over the years.  Harold Marder

Dan was an employee and a volunteer at my former synangogue in Atlanta for many years.  We worked closely together. Also, he was mysecond son's Bar Mitzvah tutor.  About 10 years ago, he moved away from Atlanta (Texas, I believe).

It so saddens me to hear of Danny's death. He was a good guy and the original Piano Man who  handled himself with a cool calm with a wide, happy looking grin.

Danny and I were in band together for several years, and he was an excellent musician and all-around good guy. I was very sad to hear this news.

Betsy got it exactly right -- Danny was the Piano Man. He was amazingly talented and a great guy. So sorry to hear of his passing.

Danny was a gifted musician, a kind and sensitive person, and an all around good guy.  I was hoping to see him at the reunion, and sad to hear of his passing.
