School Story
I wanted to join this site because I went to Mattlin Jr HS with many other students who went on to POBHS and I went to Jamaica Ave with other students who also went on to POBHS... I started out at Old Bethpage Grade school and by the time 5th grade came along, there was no longer room for us...Oh...in 4th grade, my teacher’s name was Mrs Kremen, a wonderful teacher who unfortunately only stayed part of the year because she left on maternity leave..but a couple of years later, I would meet her daughter Barbara in Mattlin.
Also my sister-in-law, Marcia Brin graduated from POBHS in ‘65, before JFK was built. Lastly, as a kid, I took swimming lessons on Sat at POBHS.
