It is hard to imagine that we have lost Steve.  I remember talking to him acouple of reunions ago, and he was just charming!!!!  His laughter was exactly the same as it was in high school..I am so sorry to hear of this news, I am so sad.  He was one of us that went to Cooper Elementary, a special bond we all had.  I will truly miss him.

Beyond the losses of this life that cause us to despair New hope is born within our heart because our God is there. RIP old friend

Steve Locatis -Loco as the Cooper Coolies knew him was a pleasant and enjoyable friend to all. He was even tempered and bright. He loved being part of our winning Football Team and was the starting Center. Our class only lost two varsity games no other team in history can best that. Steve was a good friend all thru school and beyond. We will all miss his gentle spirit and kind ways. Sincerely, Dale Johnson

I can still see Steve walking down  the hall at PHS! I can't remember him ever without a smile on his face. losing one of our own is always tough but Steve was such a warm sweet guy it makes it even harder.  Give my mom a big hug because I know you're in heaven!

Steve was one of those people who had a fiendish sense of humor, but kept it so close to the vest:  You really had to get to know him to have him feel comfortable enough to share - NOT a flamboyant guy.  I remember fondly the camaradarie and friendship shared among what seemed to be "The Three Muskateers":  Gregg McClintic; Denny Norman and Steve.....almost inseparable in HS.  It's hard to lose anyone you knew and thought highly of, but it sounds as if he may have found peace after suffering from cancer......I'm sure he's telling his dry, funny stories in heaven.  RIP, Steve.
