I haven't really left the Plano area. I've been busy raising Cassidi (Cassi). I had a lot of fun going to all of her extra-curricular activities. Now I miss them! I am working on getting a life of my own now that she's off to college.
School was great, but the things that happened after school hours are my best memories. I wouldn't have changed a thing! (Well, maybe a couple of things lol!) I remember our Junior year, I was babysitting and Denise Westwood and some other kids in our class stopped by. The couple I was babysitting for had a couple paranahs (spelling?). The guys were feeding them hotdogs and I think balogna. A couple days later, the lady I babysat for called me and asked if I did anything with the paranahs because they died. I don't remember who was with Denise, but that is a memory. I also remember Cara Krejci and I always arguing in Mr. Stoyack's class our Freshman year. But as soon as Mr. Stoyack argued with either one of us, we were right there defending each other.
Mr. Gruidel (spelling)
Miss. Pratt - she was mean to me. But she did say I had an interesting form on the balancing bars, Tracy Meier laughed.
Yes, and I would be more interested in Geography, because now it interests me. I would also care enough to know where I ranked, what my GPA was, and what I scored on the ACT.
Cassi was 4 yrs old. We spent the whole day running errands, grocery shopping, etc. We went to our last stop, which was Jewel, and now it's dark out. I was so very thirsty. I saw a sign that said water. I walked up to the water machine and it said 40 cents for water. I thought that was reasonable since pop was 55 cents. So I put 40 cents in the machine and all this water came pouring out. I went up to the lady who worked there and said "excuse me, I put 40 cents in that machine and it didn't give me a cup, so now there's water going everywhere". She said "oh no". She got a mop and a bucket. She held the bucket under the water dispenser until all the water was done coming out. I said "do I get my 40 cents back since it didn't give me a cup?" She said, you're supposed to bring your own gallon jug. I said "oh".
I went ski diving. I will never do that again. I was up 11,000 ft. I chickened out. I was holding onto the ceiling with one hand and the side of the plane with the other. The tandem instructor was trying to push me toward the door. The more he was trying to push me toward the door, the more I was holding onto the ceiling and wall, pushing back. I said I'm not jumping out, it's not going to happen. I finally talked the pilot to bring the plane down. When I found out my boyfriend at the time was going to lose his money (it was a birthday present), I reluctantly decided to jump out of the plane. I told the tandem instructor he will have to guide me toward the door because I was going to have my eyes shut the entire time. So my eyes were closed from the time the plane left the ground until the parachute opened. I think we jumped out backwards, but I'm not sure.
Florida and Southern California.
Lauderdale by the Sea, Florida. It's right on the beach, it's not so touristy, it's quiet, and the restaurants and shops are within walking distance.
Laguna Beach, California. You've got the beach in front of you and the mountains behind you (or vice versa). It's close to all of the attractions. Seeing Hollywood and shopping in Beverly Hills are a must. There's so much to do, or you can just hang out on the beach.
