Dinah Brein Brein

Living in Seattle. I was a staff songwriter/producer in Los Angeles and Nashville for over 30 years. I have had my music on film, tv and radio. In 2004, I moved to Seattle and took over a Historic Movie theater and served as the Director of Entertainment where I produced live shows until the theater left their 35mm format and went digital in 2016.

I met my husband in 2006 and we married in 2007. Two old folks with no previous marriages or children. At least that's what we thought. In October of last year, through Ancestry.com, my husband found out that he had a son, and 2 grandchildren! We are just getting to know them and are thrilled with the new family!

I was a bit of an odd one in High School. I had friends in all the "clicks", athletes, nerds, brains and outcasts. I was always drawn to the creative and kooky rather than the typical popular kids....although I also found many friends there as well. I went to University of Florida and graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Speech & Communications.

After graduation, I moved out to LA and was an NBC Page. I am still friends with all my fellow pages and make the trek down to LA often. I started writing music and had my first hit in 1989 with Stephanie Mills. Before I secured publishing deals, I also became an entertainment publicist.
