I attended UW-Platteville 1985-1991, studying Agriculture & Communications. I worked at Lands' End for 10 years in various departments. I married my college boyfriend (Ceres Sweetheart, Tim Sullivan) & was married to him for five years, living in Baraboo, Mt. Horeb & then Monroe.... then went to work for the Green County Economic Development Corp. Got divorced, moved back to Platteville & started working for AAA Travel in Dubuque. Spent the next 8 years working for Cable Car Travel in Platteville. From there I moved to Kansas City & worked as Customer Service Supervisor for Cabela's Retail Store for three years. Spent 5 weeks at the Hamburg, Pennsylvania store helping open the store & train all the employees. Then decided I missed my niece & nephews & decided to move back to Platteville. Spent two years in the Agriculture field. Then I was hired by Burkhalter Travel Agency in Madison to work as a large Group Tour Coordinator. It's been a long road to my dream job, but worth the ride. I have been dating Phil Garthwaite for 2.5 years. We live in Dickeyville. Phil is the State Representative for the 49th Assembly district in the Wisconsin Legislature. So I guess in my spare time, I hang with him & help him campaign! (it's only a 2-year term...he is in his second term of office.)
