Comments:

Right after graduating high school I went to work at Glenwood State School in Iowa. This is for the mentally handicapp. I worked there for 20 years. As much as I enjoyed the job it was time to move on. In August of 2001 I began working at the assisted living here in P-town. Working with seniors is a great reward besides the fact they make you feel Young. My children are always telling me to grow up but with this job I get to play all the time. Seriously besides activities I get to spend 1 on 1 time with each resident and hear the stories of there lives. I have been attending Living Water Church here in P-town for 24 years. I am the drama director and the Worship Coordinator. My next adventure will be this July when my first grandchild will be born. That sounds very strange but I am looking forward to it. Who knew 30 years could go by so fast!!!!!!

School Story:

Wow, a favorite story. I am sure I could come up with one or two. But I guess mostly I remember the fact that I loved school. From the time I started kindergarden to graduation. And the fact that there was a good amount of us who grew up together. I can remember us from kindergarden to walking the halls of the high school. One of the weirdest stories I can share with you is going to your children's school conferences, and the teacher you are talking to about your child was also your teacher! Now that felt weird!
