It's been 37 years my dear friends. If I have ever hurt or offended any of you, I truly beg your forgiveness.

School Story:

I am not sure I can narrow all of high school down to one story. I can say that it was one of the many fun times in my life. I suppose graduation day was a story in itself. I remember being completely content and I was actually glad to graduate. After a full year of sports, musical, choir, assemblies, student office, et al. I was exhausted. I remember having so much energy, life, and great friends. It seemed high school would go on forever. I remember playing my last football game, running my last track meet, going to our last dance. I remember skiing and skiing and skiing and there was actually real snow and not the man-made stuff. I miss my old 74 Ford Bronco, that thing was a death trap. But at graduation, I remember thinking, yeah, that was a fun time, time to move on...

It’s no secret that Bob and I were best friends our senior year at Weber.  Bob was very fun and a handsome man.  Bob's sense of humor bounced off mine so we just cracked each other up.  Admittedly, I was jealous when Bob married his beautiful wife Jennifer who was a cheerleader at Weber.  He was my best friend and I knew that his marriage to Jenn was the end of our friend.  Such is the things of life.  I loved going to stomps with Bob, skiing with him, going to dances and seeing him every day in school at good ol' Weber.  Naturally, I'm heartbroken that Bob's life was shortened by this awesome disease.  I loved that man and his entire family.  His children were beautiful.  Vicky and Larry, his parents, were like my substitute parents.  If I was hungry or thirsty, I'd just go look through the refrigerator and pick out what I wanted.  Indeed, I was their 8th son.  I can't wait to see you again my friend... my heart hurts that you are gone.

So this week I have been thinking about Dave Thierry so much it hurts.  Me, Dave, and Shane Lamb used to go hunting for rabbits all the time.  So one day we sluffed and we drove up to Howell Valley.  We saw a huge pond so we slowed in case there was any wildlife.  We saw this georgous duck in the middle of the pond but there was also a fish cop coming up the road.  So I parked where the Cop couldn't see striaght on.  Dave grabbled his camera and I grabbed my shotgun and killed the duck.  Dave had is shoes off and he was in the water.

Gratefully the Fish Cop drove by and Dave and I were going to get this Duck (we and a few other friends had just started to getting in taxidermy.  Anyway, everytime Dave and I see each other we don't even have to talk, we just automatically know what the subject will be.

I just love Dave and I miss him so.

I hope he's in heaven making God laugh.
