June Manning

I returned to my ancestral homelands on Martha's Vineyard in 1961 and graduated from Martha's Vineyard Regional High School in 1964. Attended school in Boston, worked at Tufts Medical Center for almost 7 years, back to the Vineyard, married 1975=divorced 1991. Medical secretary/assistant for many physicians and work at MV Hospital 11 years. Worked for our Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head (Aquinnah) and chaired many committees. Serving on six Boards across the Vineyard, and about six committees. Now enjoy genealogy, knitting, reading, and buying books. Traveled as far north as Toronto, south to Caracas and six Caribbean Islands, west to Anchorage and 35 States..

You will all be surprised - I really did not graduate from Pleasantville High School but I did graduate from Pleasantville Jr High in 1960. Resided in Pleasantville from 1957 to 1961. Many fond memories of students at Roselle Ave, Bedford Rd, Pleasantville Junior High and my freshman year at PHS. Some of you may remember me. There are many people with a Pleasantville connection who reside on the Vineyard as my personal physician, neighbors, and friends for nearly half a century. I am looking forward to seeing many of you for the first time since 1961.
