I knew Bill from Junior High School band with Mr. Larry Livingston through Plymouth High School band with Mr. James Griffith. Bill was part of the percussion section and because that section in the later years thought of themselves as a bit wilder than the average band member, they named the percussion section "The Cage." "The Cage" contained animals and Bill's nickname was Bear. I have his senior picture, including a reference to his animal side and some of Bill's artwork. It is a treasured posession as are the memories of The Bear.
