Wishing you a very happy birthday

Yesterday,July 11, 2023 was a very shocking & sad day. No one I know of knew that Karen was so ill. Her son said they just found out in May. Karen called me last Christmas at my sons house. We talked about them coming out to the Coast here in North Carolina. Karen, I've known you over 50 years! You will be sorely missed my friend!

So sad to hear. We went to the Sadie Hawkins dance together in 11th grade. May she rest in peace .

I was so shocked to hear of Karen's battle with cancer and her passing, she never mentioned to it any of us, that I know of.

Karen texted me a few months ago, she was in Florida and wanted to try to get together, because of distance it just didn't work out.  Now, I wish we had tried harder to make it happen, I feel a bit guilty for that.

You will be missed Karen, we all loved you.

I am so saddened to hear of Alice's passing.  I have searched for her wondering how she was doing.  We were very good friends in junior high, hung out a lot during the summer and tried our best to make a Baked Alaska, total fail.  

Do any of you remember Stella's restaurant in old town, it was a diner type place that had great home cooking.

So very sorry to hear this. I remember many laughs & good times with Linda while we were in school. She will be missed. ??

My heart is breaking, we have lost too many of our classmates to this horrible desease.  My thoughts and prayers are with Linda's family and friends.

Nancy and I want to thank the members of the reunion committee for their outstanding work in the planning of our 50-year reunion. It was well worth the effort to be in attendance and to visit with classmates we had not seen for fifty years. It was great to see how many folks were able to attend. To put it into perspective, we had a blast.
