Douglas A. Nave, 65, died Friday, May 10, 2013 at Spring City Care Center.

Born in Rockwood, Tenn., he was the son of the late Arbie and Eva DrakeNave. Douglas was a graduate of Spring City High School and a retired veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He served three tours of duty during the Vietnam Conflict and retired in 1986 after 24 years of service. Douglas was of the Church of Christ faith.

Survivors include his ex-wife, Glenda Nave of Spring City; sons, Kelly Naveand Travis Nave both of Kissimmee, Fla.; stepdaughters, Cheryl Waddell of Tillamook,Ore., Angela Day of Ellijay, Ga. and Melissa Green of Indianapolis, Ind.;brother, James Nave of Spring City; sister, Barbara Hickey of Rhea County; ninegrandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

There will be no visitation or services.
