Jon was the track coach at Franklin HS here in Portland. While at Grant Jon played football, was a star in track, and was an excellent student. Jon was voted to have the best build in the senior class. He was a member of Mu Nu Xi and an all around great guy.

Ken Rothery
Jon was a PE instructor at Franklin HS in Portland. He also was the track coach for 31 years. To his track team he was not only the coach but to many life long friend. He was one of the most liked teacher/coach at Franklin. In 1957 he was our outstanding track athlete.
