Ken thanks for all of the work you do on this website and on the reunion.
Unfortunately I will not be able to make the reunion.  I can only take the
time to do one trip to Portland and we will be coming up in October for the
Grant High School Sports Hall of Fame induction for the the 53, 54, 55, 56
and 57 swimming team(s)  which went undefeated for those five years.  I was
one of the team members from 53 to 57 and won multiple city and state
championship events (opportunity to brag a bit).  So say "Hi" to all of my
class mates and tell them I'm sorry to have missed yet another reunion.

I am sending also a big thanks to Ken and all the staff who have worked so hard for all of us to keep in touch. This has been a huge blessing to me and I know to others, So enjoyed getting to see some folks that have not seen in a long time at the reunion, and also on Sunday morning for breakfast. Those who could not make it to the breakfast, you missed it, hearing about some of the funny stories that some have lived through over the past 55 years. I for one loved every minuet of it..thanks again to all of you and to Ken.

Not sure where to go to post information about a classmate that I finally tracked down, so hope this gets to the right place. Jim Casteel is living at 37305 Hwy. 1, Monterey, CA. 93940. He and his wife Jeannie live in an old school house overlooking the Pacific Ocean. His e-mail is jim1272@att.net .

If you live in Oregon, count your blessings.  I presently don't due to circumstances but I dream of returning to Oregon to see friends I made while living there before (not ones from HS because the class was so big, it really was difficult to 'make friends' in HS) and to be able to visit the Pacific Ocean often.  So if you live there, appreciate what you have.  Where I presently live, Lancaster County PA,called the 'garden spot of PA,' people live long lives, are married for 50-60 years but for persons like myself, it's not worth it to remain here and be bored most of the time.  I climbed Mt. Hood once, I skied, I sailed, I bicycled while living in Oregon; here there are people who have never left the county!  If you live in Oregon now, love it!
