Gerry LEWIS Cooley

Raised three children, traveled the world during the late 80's and early 90's. Live in hot Texas now since 2001. Have 2 great grandchildren and 2 on the way. I am still working at 72. Blessed with reasonable good health and love life. Living now with daughter her husband and family. They are building me a little cabin in the back. (Mother-in -law) cabin. My one living son and daughter are planning on coming with me to the 55th reunion next year. God willing hope to see a lot of you there.
I am now in my little shack and I love it! Have been in since February. We still have to build the outside porch. Up to now it has been too hot to go outside and "sweat". I have not been back up to Portland since the reunion. Perhaps after the first of the year. So sad to hear about losing more of our classmates. God bless you all. 2014 I am enjoying life one day at a time. Still can't believe we all will be three quarters of a century old. I now live in my "shack" with the porch built and enjoy watching the birds and all wildlife and getting to enjoy my family has they all get older. I have been blessed with good health and at this moment I am setting in hotel room in San Antonio with daughter and granddaughter for a dance competion. Weather is beautiful and could not ask for anything more!

I loved all four years at Grant and cherish all the people who graced my life in those four years!
