Social Worker and administrator of programs to end violence against women and children into 1992 throughout the Pacific NW tribal programs on several reservations and public and tribal social agencies; later for social work/research professor at several universities, ending where I began: PSU but with the Indigenous Nations Studies program.

Not many great memories of highschool but graduated ~ married, 2 children, worked in social services in the urban Indian community, yada yada ~ Returned to school and found my passion to end violence against women and children ~~ graduated 1982 (MSW) PSU, Indian School of Social Work (to lead several tribal family social service programs) 1993 PSU, Doctoral research with tribal communities (1st Native Am. woman to graduate with honors from PSU SSW Doctoral program) Social Research 1997 (PhD); research professor New Mexico Highlands Univ. SSW, Albuquerque, NM., research professor with University of Denver/Casey Family Services SSW, Denver, CO., adjunct professor Portland State Univ., SSW, Pacific University SSW, visiting professor with University of Oregon Ethnic Studies, and adjunct professor with PSU Indigenous Nations Studies. Retired & traveling the pow wow trail around the country in the spring/summer and writing (fb too) in the fall/winter ~ Looking forward to renewing old acquaintances and making new friends at the 50th (one and only) reunion I have been interested in attending.
