FAQ's
 

Who may participate? Those who walked the hallway’s and were enrolled on Lincoln’s Roster (not to include those who were in the Summit Program).

 

How were fees determined? Fees were based on 150 Alumni participants with all events catered, security, entertainment, facilities, gates, deposits, decorations, souvenirs and other incidentals.

 

Can I pay my fee in installments? Yes, installment payments are accepted.  Only money orders or cashier checks are accepted forms of payments.

 

When is the deadline to pay? The deadline to pay is Friday, August 31, 2012.

 

How may I register to participate? You may register online at www.PALincolnAlumni.org  or you may call the information line (409) 989-8676 to have a registration form mailed to you or emailed to you.

 

Will events have security? All events will have at least two or more police officers.

 

Who will be allowed to enter events? All participants will receive customized wrist bands for each day to enter events.  Only those with wristbands will be able to enter. 

 

What if I lose my wristband?  Wristbands will not be replaced and no one will be able to enter events without wristbands.

 

Will I need to provide my own seating at Block Party, Parade and Picnic? Yes, please bring your chairs to these events.

 

Will I be able to bring in alcohol into the Block Party and Picnic? Yes,  you will be able to bring in your own alcohol except beer.  Their will be vendors setup to sell beer.

 

Will I have to purchase my own beverages/drinks at Reunion Ball? Yes, besides the beverage that will come with the catered dinner, everyone must pay for their own beverages.  There will be several cash bars setup through out the venue.

 

What is the cocktail hour? It’s  a time for everyone to socialize, take pictures  before entering the formal reunion ball. Hour 'doers will be provided.

 

Will I be able to enter Reunion Ball form nonconformity of dress code? You will not be able to enter the Reunion Ball if you do not cohere to the dress code.  Members of the Sheriff Department will escort anyone away from the venue who is not dressed within the dress code.

 

What is considered formal attire?  For women formal attire for the Reunion Ball is long ball gown to ankle or floor, a  gown that is between ankle and mid-calf or one may wear black palazzo pants.  Mini dresses are not formal attire and will not be accepted to enter into Reunion Ball...For men a tuxedo (strongly suggested) or a black colored suit with a tie are formal attire for the Reunion Ball.  No one without a tuxedo or a black suit with tie will be to enter the reunion ball. No other suit colors are acceptable or will be allowed to enter.

Will I need to bring or purchase food for the Reunion Ball?  No outside food or drinks are allowed in the venue. The Reunion Ball is catered to include main entrée, beverage (tea or water) and dessert.

 

How will seating be arranged? The venue will be setup with round tables to seat 10-12 people per table.  Each table will have a decade sign in the middle to indicate which decade to sit at the table, e.g. one table will have  1950’s ,another 1960’s, another 1970’s etc.  No one area will be for a certain decade, the tables will be mixed in among decades, e.g. a 1960’s table might be next to a 1980’s table and 1940’s table etc.

 

Will a family be able to reserve a table? Families will not be able to reserve a table.  With most Alum having large size families it will be a difficult task and  we will not be able to accommodate all families. Please remember this is a high school mass reunion so we encourage everyone to mingle with others that are not within your family or circle of friends.  This will be a great opportunity to network and make new acquaintances.

Secondary Host Hotel  Hampton Inn & Suites, 7660 Memorial Blvd, Port Arthur, TX (Walking distance to Holiday Inn)  409-722-6999 . Ask for Shanna Chisem Rates TBD at later date.
