Hello Everyone:
I am just seeing this Website for the first time. I think it is marvelous. Go Class of '68! Thanks to Barbara, Linda, and Terry Earl for keeping on me about doing what I should be doing. I promise to do better.

I will be posting more information later. My whole life now is centered around text messages, emails, and working online. Wow! This technology is something.

Take care and remember God loves you (John 3:16)

As you live the rest of your life, put God first, pray regularly, and help someone. You will be Blessed.

Herbert Becks, Jr.

I finally did it! Logged-in and created a profile. I have enjoyed what I have seen so far, and I know much more is coming. Those photos that you have submitted are something. Brings back memories.

Take care (all) and look to hear from me again.

HERB, YOU HAVE SO MUCH TO CONTRIBUTE TO THIS SITE; I ANTICIPATE SOME SPIRITUAL AND MOTIVATIONAL CONTRIBUTIONS FROM YOU; ONE IDEA IS TO HAVE DAILY SCRIPTURES FOR OUR GENERATION; WE HAVE SO MANY CHALLENGES AT THIS AGE, HEALTH...NAMELY A MAJOR ONE.. AMONG OTHERS...IF WE COULD GET YOU TO SIGN UP AS A WEBMASTER..THEN YOU CAN LINK..ADDITIONALLY.. I THINK WE COULD USE TIPS ON DIET AND EXERCISE.

JUST WANT TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT I, BARB AND GENEVA WERE AT THE FUNERAL SERVICE FOR LUCILLE BROWN'S BROTHER; SHE'S WELL, LOOKS FANATASTIC AND TOLD US TO TELL EVRYONE HI! SHE'S STILL TALKING ABOUT THE WONDERFUL TIME SHE HAD AT THE REUNION. BY THE WAY, IT'S TIME FOR US TO CELEBRATE THE CLASS TURNING 60'.

THANKS for the consideration, Linda! But, I think I need to say no to this offer. Since I did not attend the class reunion, this may create too much strife and resentment in the class. Don't want that. Maybe for the next reunion if I am still around.

Right now, I am just glad I could login and be able to chat with everyone.

I think if people believe in God, it should NOT matter what you did or did NOT do, as long as you are true to your word, and know there is a God and he forgive all of our trials and tribulations. Talk the Gospel. This day and time we all need inspirational passages in all aspects of our daily life.
Don't let that be the reason, speak on it. Mr. Herbert Becks. God Bless.

Thanks Delores for those words of wisdom. Yes, I definitely agree with you. We should put God first in our lives and he will take care of the rest.

Look to get a personal message from me soon. Keep checking your email, etc.

And Delores, my name is the same as it was many years ago when we were in high school together, Herbert. It is not Mr. Herbert Becks.

Take care,
Herbert

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of a legend, Mr. Bennie Reeves. Mr. Reeves was a former teacher in the Claiborne County School District and a Professor at Jackson State University. He will be missed.

My family and I extend our sympathies and condolences to the Bennie Reeves family and to my classmate Dewey. May God be with you, and may God keep you.

With deepest sympathy,
Herbert Becks, Jr., and family

Herbert, declining is your option; however, please don't feel that there is 'ownership' of the website. It is, first and foremost, a means of communication for all classmates, and not exclusively for those who attended the reunion. The original intent was to promote communication and to connect with one another.

By the way, Herbert, I venture this...We, the class of '68, have left strife and resentment in the past on our journey to who God wants us to be. AGREED?

Thanks to all of you who remembered my birthday, that I tried to forget myself since I am almost 60. That's really old. Since I am not finished doing what I want to do I have asked God to let me live at least as old as my mother was-- that would give me another 30 years to live. I am on a mission to help all who will live a longer, more fulfilling life by exercising, eating healthy foods, and having fun. Also, everyone should look good, feel good and have fun. Let me know by April 3 if anyone is planning to join us at the resort in Tyler, Texas starting on April 10. If you are working you can afford to take a day or two off. It is 100 miles from Shreveport, so Les and I are planning to go to the Casino in Shreveport for at least one day and waste some money. We will probably only stay until Tuesday or Wednesday ourselves (until April 13th or 14th). I have never given myself the luxury of taking a whole week off for a vacation, but am working on it. Future plans will include taking a vacation in every city where we have a resort (Orlando, Florida, Bransom, Missouri, Clarksville, Tennessee, Denver, Colorado, etc.) Take care, love you all.

It's 2011, and suprisingly there is little or no activity from the 'Dynamic' class; Let's get back in the communication mode on 'our' website! Also, some of our classmates are on Facebook, so check to see who's connected.

Had a marvelous time at the class planning meeting on August 19, 2012. I enjoyed seeing everyone and being a part of the laughter, communication, and togetherness. Saw some people I had not seen in a long time.

Still amazed that after almost forty-five years of having gone our separate ways..not being physically present in each other lives.. The essential pieces still fit! It's so very evident when we meet up, 'We just pick up'! Happy Reunion Planning, Classmates!

Positive Spirit:  So looking forward!

Hello reunion committee, I would like to thank you all for the most amazing time. My sister and I truly  enjoyed ourselves. We are learning to relax and enjoy our retirement . Other family members have been after us to take vacations and relax, especially JoAnn , who seldom took time away from her business. Our guest  echos our joy in the fun we had. They have invited themselves along to our next reunion.

Also, i want you to know that we all so proud of Your art; it is so impressionable; it really enhances the souvenir book..  Thanks for allowing us the opportunity to use it!.. Let's  forever  stay in touch, dear friend!..I'm sure  Our 45 th reunion will forever be among our fondest memories
