Trudy (Phipps) Wennerberg

May 19, 1958 to April 5, 2009

Trudy LaVonne (Phipps) Wennerberg, 50, of Port Orchard, died April 5, 2009 at her residence. She was born May 19, 1958 in Bremerton to Bobby & Marilyn (Hull) Phipps. She attended Pleasant Valley, Cedar Heights & South Kitsap high schools. Trudy was an animal lover who always had cats & dogs and was into horses when she was very young. Later Trudy worked for the Spokane Coliseum and was able to take in many events & musical groups.

She is survived by her parents Bobby & Marilyn Phipps of Sunnyslope, two brothers, Bill (Rhonda)Phipps & Rob Phipps; a sister, Whendi (Jason) Schatz; Nephews, Darrell, Daniel, Devan, Jordan, & Blake. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins and all of her large family and circle of friends that were very special to her. She was preceded in death by her Husaband Bryce, Grandparents James & Violet Hull & Eurestus & Erma Phipps, Brothers - John & Bobby Jr. and 2 premature infant sons.

Trudy was a Christian and we thank God for all the years we did have Trudy. She was truly a blessing in all our lives. 

Funeral services will be 2pm Friday, April 17th at Rill's Life Tribute Center with Interment to follow at Sunset Lane Cemetery. A Potluck will follow at the Sunnyslope Improvement Club, 600 SW Clifton Rd. There will be a visitation & viewing on Thursday evening from 5:30-7pm also at Rill's Life Tribute Center.
