Dec 27 2025:   Sadly, I just learned that my cousin (our grandmothers were sisters) and our classmate Sheridan Walker has passed away. He was living with his son John in East Texas and he was on dialysis at the time of our reunion. His surviving family are his mother Wanda, brother Kevin and sister Tamara. A son and a granddaughter that I know of. I will post an obituary when it comes available if it does. I have learned thru some Walker cousins that he is to be cremated with ashes spread in Pecos. His mom has just been told . If his son does a memorial, it will likely be over spring break.

Wanda’s address is 1868 N.M. 236, Portales, NM 88130 if anyone wants to send cards or flowers.

It is with Great sadness that we announce the loss of Aubrey Sparks who passed away on Saturday night Nov 15.  He was out doing his favorite activity:  dancing at the seniors when apparently he collapsed and was unable to be resusitated.  When the obituitary and services are posted, this will be added to the page

Charlie Ortega passed away in December of 2025. Service in Portales on 20 Dec.
