Reunion Information

Golden Jubilee will start Friday Afternoon 19 September 2025 and wrap up Sunday night 21 September 2025.

Registration can begin now and will end August 30, 2025. We prefer you to mail in a registration sheet which can be found at the bottom of this page and include payment by check. The easiest way to register is to call me and I will fill out your form over the phone.  575-693-3860. You can cash app or Zelle the payment to me. I will confirm receipt before we hang up. You may also pay at the registration but it is important we have an accurate head count for each event.  

Registration for the three days will be $55.00 a person, and includes  all scheduled activities , 4 meals and 2 other small bites food events.    Each registered classmate will also receive a souvenir class of "75" mug.  Additional mugs may be purchased for $6.00 each as supplies last.  In addition the class photo which will be taken at the beginning of the banquet  will be downloadable free of charge.  The Venue allows attendees to bring in their own alcohol as desired.  Wine will be on the table during the Saturday night Banquet.  Please note:  This wine is not part of your fee but is being provided as a donation.  

 All events will be at the Gen Events Center: Generations Building, 529 W 15th St #501, Portales, NM 88130 unless otherwise specified.  Parking available after hours at the CYFD Parking lot.

  • Friday Night : 5:00 Registration starts at the Gen event Center .  Pick up your tickets, get your name badge, a schedule of events and your coffee cup.   Class mates who do not wish to attend the Meet and Greet at Uncle Mikes may stay at the venue and visit as long as they want to.  Food and drinks provided by Taco Box.  tequitas, pinwheels, dip , meatballs , sweet and unsweet tea.   
  • If there is a home game, we have been invited to attend a Rams game as special guests.  7:00
  • OPEN EVENT:  Meet and Greet at Uncle Mikes Music Venue.  6:30.    This is a non-smoking and alcohol free venue.   Drinks are available free of charge but donations to the venue are accepted. 
  • Saturday:  
  • 10AM  to 12PM Registration.  Registration continues:   We have several mixers , games and fun activities planned for this event. 
  • Breakfast breads, coffee and hot tea will be available and provided by The Courthouse Cafe.  
  • 12:00. Lunch will be provided by the courthouse Cafe, sandwichs, salads and chips.  Sweet and unsweet tea.  
  • We are going to break a pinata after lunch so work on your batting skills.
  • OPEN EVENT: 1:00 to 3:00 This time is for mixing, visiting and reconnecting.    All family, friends and former Teachers who want to come are encouraged to attend. We will have a  Photo booth, poker table, Crafts...  something for everyone.
  • 3:00. tour of Portales High School
  • Saturday evening, Golden Jubilee Banquet.   6:00pm and ends at midnight.  Dinner will be provided by El Rancho.  To be in the group photo be present by 6:15

Sunday afternoon: 

OPEN EVENT:  At 1:30 we will have a memorial for our lost classmates.  This  will include a video and candle lighting ceremony ,  Refreshments provided. Please check the memory page and sign up to light a candle for someone special to you.  

OPEN EVENT:  Sunday night: 6:30.  Farewell hang out at Pats Parking lot,  no preregistration required,  just bring a lawn chair.   For those so inclined we can drag main.  

PULL OUT EVENTS:

We will have numerous pull out events for special interest groups.   these events require sign up and if there is a charge, fees will be paid at the venue.  

wine tasting at Enchantment Vineyards Saturday at 4:00. limited to 8. Let me know as soon as possible if you are interested in this event as it is filling up already. $10.00 per person

Tour of Alpaca Farm Saturday at 2:00. limited to 20, cost is $5.00 at the venue

Tour of Blackwater draw site and museum. Friday afternoon at 2:00.  Limited to 15.  cost $1.00 per person

Golf:  Portales Country Club. Friday at 2:00 limited to 8.  cost is $90 for 2 people. $55.00 for 1.  18 holes. 

 Hatha Yoga Class is Friday 10am at Snap Fitness, 1608 E Spruce St, Portales. We could also offer a free day pass for anyone that signs up for yoga Friday morning. The cost for the class is $10 and space is limited.

Sunday morning massage in a private room at the Venue.  Massage by Twila 1$ a minute.  Limit 4 massages 

Friday around midday: Tour of Norm and Vi Petty Studio,  working on time and should include a tour of the rock and roll museum as well

working on : Rams home game depending on scheduling,   five hearts farm event
