After being an elementary teacher for 4 yrs. I grew unsatisfied with the pay. I was searching The Oregonian for other employment and happened to just answer an ad for selling cars. My first month selling cars I more than doubled my previous month when I was a teacher. At that point my new career had started! I am very aggressive and moved up the ladder quickly to eventually being a General Manager (run the entire operation and have dozens of employees and departments under me) of two different dealerships. The car business has allowed me to travel and see exciting places. The credit crunch we have recently had has made the car business very difficult and so I have branched into other areas of the industry and out of actual dealerships.

I transferred to Marshall High School from my regular feeder high school, Franklin, in 1987 to start my Junior year. The staff and basketball coaches at Franklin were very upset that I was trying to transfer and went all the way to the state school board and athletic association to prevent me from being able to play basketball at Marshall. After several months and numerous meetings, I was allowed to play. Needless to say, when the basketball season rolled around and we played Franklin, I was always beat up just a little bit more!
The experience at Marshall was much more enjoyable to me...from the faculty and staff to my fellow students. I don't regret the transfer.

I enjoyed the other students and how everyone was supportive to each other.

I did have a couple crushes in high school, but as you probably remember...I am shy. Therefore, I still won't reveal who they were.

I enjoy spending time with my family, still playing some basketball, working in the yard, traveling when I can.

Not much of a party-type person.

Put an even stronger focus on basketball. Even though I spent day and night improving my game, I could have done more to further my career.

Having my two boys and marrying my second wife!
