I got married and left my ex after 1 year. In this marriage I got pregnant for twins which I miscarried.
I then met my oldest daughter's father. When Lindsey was 2 I gave birth to Chelsea, which was still born. After their father and I were together for 4 1/2 years and the birth and funeral of Chelsea he left us which left me raising Lindsey as a single parent.
I then met Alyssa's father and we were together for 1 1/2 and engaged to be married. I got pregnant with Alyssa and he decided to leave to go back to his ex-wife and 3 sons during my 4 month of pregnancy. Once again leaving me as a single parent.
I went back to school to get my GED and then attended school for Medical Office Management.
While being a single mother for 16 years (by choice) I have worked as an Assistant Manager, worked in the medical field, and also have over seen and managed rental property.
The last property I managed is where I met my current husband. The story of us meeting and getting married is comical. He is wonderful, caring and very loving to me and the girls.
We went for vacation in July 2007 back to Ashland and of course I had to show him Portsmouth. We had so much fun re-living the past and seeing old sights. This visit really made us relize how much we miss home and during this vacation a miracle happened, I got pregnant but to only miscarry in my 2nd month.
My husband and I are planning in about 4-6 years, after Alyssa finishes high school and gets enrolled into college, we're moving back to his hometown of Ashland, Ky. But until that time comes we are trying to make a trip back home each year to visit with family and friends, that is if we can catch up with any.
I loved being in study hall with Mr. Murphy. That was so much fun.
I really regret dropping out of high school, loosing contact with my friends and getting married to my first husband. But I also realize that if I didn't do that I wouldn't be where I am today and have the family I have today.
