Finished my bachelor's at Georgetown. Went to WVU and earned a Masters of Agriculture (long story). Worked in cancer research for about 5 years and decided I didn't want to be in a lab the rest of my life. Found my calling when I entered the Master of Public Administration degree program. Worked as the Administrator of the WV Center for End-of-Life Care for three years (very rewarding but low paying). Moved to Pittsburgh in 2006 for greener pastures but have recently returned to West Virginia University to develop a new Quality of Life Institute with a former colleague. I'm still living in Pittsburgh. I also met the love of my life in 2008, a math professor. He and I were married last year in Las Vegas.
