Zinnie Conner

Zinnie E. Conner III, 37, of Hatcher Church Road, Princeton passed away Thursday afternoon, December 31, 2015 at CAMC in Charleston. Born April 12, 1978 in Princeton, he was the son of Zinnie E. Conner Jr. & Deborah Ann Jones Conner all of Princeton. He was preceded in death by grandparents Bernice Quesenberry Jones & Charles William Jones, & Zinnie Edward Conner & Leonia Hazelwood Conner. Zinnie was employed by Timken Corporation (formerly Smith Services) of Princeton as a machinist. In his spare time, he loved the outdoors, especially hunting & fishing and riding his 4 wheeler. Survivors include his father & mother, Zinnie Conner & Deborah Conner, his fiancée Melissa Miller Poe & her son, Sebastian Alexander Poe of Princeton, six siblings; Adrian Conner & wife Kristin, Joseph Conner & wife Jenni, Jamie Conner, Britney Conner, Tessa Conner & Ann Blankenship all of Princeton. A nephew Channing Conner and a niece, Graesen Conner. A host of Aunts, Uncles & Cousins. Services to celebrate the life of Zinnie E. Conner III will be held 1:00P.M. Tuesday, January 5, 2015 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Ron Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in New Zion Cemetery just off Cheesy Creek Road near Princeton. Friends may visit with the family Monday from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home. Zinnie and his family made a decision to help others by working with CORE, a true gift of LOVE to others.
