I just remember trying my hardest to make Amanda laugh, but it never took much (I don't know if that's a good sign or not!). She called me Kramer a lot. Amanda shared the friendliness of so many of the Athens students...when I moved there in the middle of the 8th grade...even though I was intimidated by everyone, she talked to me and before long she was throwing food at me in the lunchroom...ganging up with Jonnie Wysong and Sarah Arias, they pelted me with food for what seemed to be weeks. Although I might have acted embarrassed back then, I suppose that it's been long enough to admit that that was some awesome attention! AH-Hah!
You are deeply missed, Amanda. You got me through many classes and it was always a pleasure talking and laughing with you.

Amanda was a wonderful friend of mine that I miss dearly. I wouldn't even know where to begin with sharing memories... there are so many! All I know is that I loved her and she will always hold a special place in my heart!

I can't believe that one of our classmates is gone. I have so many memories of Amanda and like her mom I remember senior skip day. We all had so much fun that day and then it had to end with a wreck...oh the luck of a teenager lol. I was looking through old pictures and I found one from 7th or 8th grade of me and Amanda in choir class and then another from senior year. I laughed at how much we had changed in a few years.
She is very missed and as we all get together for our reunion I will keep her and her family in my thoughts.

Amanda was always a blast...I don't think there was ever a time that she couldn't make me laugh! We all miss you Amanda and our class reunion will not be the same without you! Thank you Debbi for allowing us to remember the good times.

I loved this girl. We have many memories, so many I can't take the time to write about here. Amanda was beautiful young woman with so much ahead of her. She could always make you feel happy just to be in her presence. I know how much she loved her mom, Debbie. It was my privilege and honor to be a part of Amanda's life for a brief time on this earth. Because I know where I'll be going when I have to leave here, I can't wait to catch up on the good times with her in heaven! Love ya girl!
