Comments:

I've been married to my husband Larry for 31 yrs.He retired in 2003 after having a very sucessful career woking for the Navy in a civilian capacity for 41 yrs.He was a Division Head, and we were lucky towards the end of his career to be asked to move to Hawaii, when he was asked by NAVSEA in Washington DC to go to Pearl Harbor and "straighten and correct" some things that were not right there. We lived in a house right on the beach, and it was undoubtably the most beautiful place on earth. We have wonderful memories. He was asked to stay, but he was ready to retire, and did,and we moved back to Port Orchard because our families were here.

I have been very fortunate that I have not had to work and I could be a stay at home mother.

I love being around my children and grandchildren.

As I've gotton older,I find myself being more outspoken and opinionated.

My age is only a number to me...it isn't who I am and it doesn't stop me from being silly, funny or even childish if that is how I feel at the time....I can also be a tiger if I have to be,& I don't take "crap" from anyone(unless it's done in decent fun) and if I'm crossed, you'd better be a darn fast runner!

Life is to short and I want to experience as much of it as I can!

I have overcome many things in my life and it those experiences that have shaped me to who I am today. I am thankful for them.
I have a very strong faith in God,and I know I have nothing to fear, because of him.He is my rock.

School Story:

I don't have a favorite school story.
I remember having a few friends but more friends in the upper classmates.I didn't apply myself very well in highschool.I wish now, that I had.
I was a little rebellious.
I remember being called into the principals office once, for wearing my skirts to short.According to the schools dress code, skirts were to be below the knee, and I turned the waistband under so that my skirts were at the knee.I left his office, telling him ok....and then kept on doing it.I thought skirts and dresses below the knee was old fashioned and looked dorky.
