Marcus Richard Tracy

Marcus Richard Tracy, born November 8, 1957 in Soap Lake, Washington, passed away peacefully, September 9, 1990 at home surrounded by his family in Lakewood after a lengthy illness. He was a student at Cornish College of Fine Arts in Seattle. He had previously lived in the Philippines, Flint, Michigan and Provo, Utah where he attended Provo Technical College and Brigham Young University. Marcus loved all things of nature and was especially fond of bird watching, growing flowers and landscape design and had been awarded Scholarships and Honors for Architectural and Furniture Design.

Marcus fought his illness with courage and strength, until he could fight no more.

Marcus leaves his parents, Lt. Colonel and Mrs. Donald R. Tracy, Tacoma; brothers, Steven R., Redmond and Donald R., Jr. of Fircrest; sister, Diane M. Tracy, Logan, Utah and his grandmother, Helen St. Pierre of Tacoma.

Services 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Mt. View Valley Chapel. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home. 584-0252
