Brad Bringhurst

Bradley Bringhurst

St. George - Bradley Miles Bringhurst age 59 passed away peacefully on February 6, 2018 with his wife Mary by his side. Bradley was born on August 25, 1958 in Cedar City, Utah to Vina Ruth Miles Bringhurst and Archie (Bud) Bringhurst.

He grew up in Provo, Utah where he enjoyed his school years as a good student. Brad had a great sense of humor and enjoyed life. He loved the out of doors, hunting with his dad and the many camping adventures with his family. He was very close to his two brothers Kurtis and Gregory.

He learned carpentry skills in his youth as he worked along with his dad. Through his life Brad had a heart of gold and many times gave the shirt off his back to those who needed it more or taking people in for a time when they had no place else to go.

At age 25 he left for California to seek his fortune. He found it when he met the love of his life Mary Mullins.

They were married on June 23, 1994 in Orange County, California.

Brad and Mary left for New Jersey to take care of her parents. While there Bradley had his own business of building homes and also used his skill of laying tile. The missionaries in that area loved spending time at their home where Mary would cut their hair and cook for them and they would take Brad with them on missionary splits. Those ten years were their happiest times where they both held positions in the LDS church, teaching and serving the youth. Many asked Brad to baptize them. Their prize blessing at that time was being able to adopt and raise their son LaMont.

Brad and Mary's marriage was solemnized at the LDS Temple in Washington D.C. on March 30, 1996. Brad is survived by his wife Mary, son LaMont (Nicole) and granddaughter September, his step children Mark, RJ, Tim, Mary and Amelia and Sister-in-law Michelle Mullins , his brother Gregory (Gabriela), his parents and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his brother Kurtis Miles Bringhurst. Bradley will be greatly missed by all. We will be with him again.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday February 13, 2018 at Hughes Mortuary, 1037 E. 700 S. St. George, Utah. The viewing will start at 11:00 AM with a Funeral service to start at 12:00 noon. Interment at Toquerville City Cemetery to directly follow the Funeral service.
