Comments:

wow, where to begin... :-)

Served in the West Virginia, Charleston mission from 1980 - 1982.

Went to BYU trying to figure out what to do; theatrical makeup, diving, quit school till I figure something out.. lol
I met an Army LDS Chaplain while looking into a Gunsmith school in Denver in the fall of 1982.

Married Eva Hill in 1984. Father thought I had left the church when I joined the Army reserve and left BYU for the Psychology Department at the "U" (the red one up north).

While in the Army I got to be the demolition expert for our unit; no one else wanted to play with explosives so I said sign me up. I mean really, if some one asked you if you wanted to play with C4, claymores, hand grenades, real dynamite (not Napolean) and various other explosives and teach others how to "play"?? How could I pass that up?!

While in the reserves I was studying to be an LDS Chaplain. When I checked with church headquarters(1988-ish) I found the rules changed since I first inquired in 1983. In order to make the age limit I would have to be on active duty.

So, I went into the US Navy in 1989 as a computer technician. Again with the intention of being a chaplain. I spent 6 years in the Navy and never went out to sea. I did go back to school and was in my junior year of psychology(1992) when I again requested information from church headquarters, and yep, you guessed it, the requirements for being a chaplain changed yet again. The new requirements made it impossible for me to finish school before the newly lowered age limit. Was medically discharged from the Navy in the Spring of 1993.

Once I got out of the Navy, I worked on many contract jobs with computer networking companies, telecommunication companies, and alarm companies while working on a BS in Computer Science from Weber State.

I joined the Post Office in 2004 and have been there since. And yes, I am Postal! I even have a badge that says I am "Postal". And really, we only worry about people that go "Ballistic". (postal humor ..lol)

School Story:
