I married my best friend Anne in 1989. She retired from teaching kids with special needs at the elementary education level in 2022. I started my own architecture firm in 2011, as a product of the Great Recession, and have been going strong ever since. We have been fortunate to have designed both high end residential and commercial buildings not only here in South Carolina, but also throughout the USA as well as in the Caribbean and my home country, the Netherlands. I’m looking forward to retirement soon and leaving the hustle and bustle behind me. I’d love to get out of this ever growing city called Charleston and relocating to small, quiet little town called somewhere.
