John Randall Wilkinson

July 18, 1964 - July 15, 1997

John Randall Wilkinson, 32, of Provo died July 15, 1997, of a sudden illness. He was born July 18, 1964, a son of John Charles and Barbara Copenhaver Wilkinson in Provo.

Randy attended grade school, junior high and high schools in Provo. While in high school he and his friends formed the first Rodeo Club at Timpview High.

Randy’s greatest love was his children and the outdoors, he enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting with his dad. Randy had a friendly smile and hello for everyone he met. Randy, you will always be loved by your family. May you find the peace you so deserve.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter, Mickey John of Elko, Nevada, Ryan Bo and Brandi Genith, both of Orem; his parents, three sisters: Mrs. Scott (Jill) McCamey, Mrs. Steve (Pamela) Pearson, Mrs. Kevin (Jamie) Kinser, two brothers; Jed E. Wilkinson, Joshua L. Wilkinson all of Provo, a grandfather Lyle V. Wilkinson of Orem, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces. He was preceded in death by two grandmothers and a grandfather.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 19, 1997, at 11:00 a.m. at the Slate Canyon 1^st Ward Chapel, 715 Utah Ave. in Provo. Friends may call Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street, Orem, and also Saturday from 9:15 to 10:45 a.m. at the ward chapel. Interment will be in the Provo City Cemetery.
