Robert A. Littlefield--beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother--died in Salt Lake City, Utah on Saturday, January 31st, 2015, after a valiant battle with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, at the age of 59. Robert was born August 13, 1955 to Max and Colleen A. Littlefield. He grew up in Provo, Utah and was educated in Provo Public Schools. Robert married the love of his life, Christine Baird, on August 20th, 1976. They were married for 38 years and were the perfect example of companionship and love.

Robert worked at Geneva Steel for 13 years. After obtaining his lineman’s degree and apprenticeship, he started working for the City of Lehi Power Department. At the time of his death, Robert had worked for the City of Lehi nearly 29 years.

Robert found great joy in the outdoors, whether he was camping, hunting, boating, or just spending time in his own backyard. However, the one thing Rob loved more than nature was his family. He was a caring and devoted father to his only daughter, Cassie. She and her husband, Kelly, became best of friends with Robert and Chris. They regularly enjoyed simple family gatherings or wonderful family vacations and were always planning their next project or adventure. Robert adored his two granddaughters, Kelcee and Kaylee. The six of them were inseparable and Robert devoted his life to making their lives better.

Robert was a hard-working, good man and will be greatly missed by many. He always listened carefully before giving the best of advice or direction on any given challenge or difficult situation. He was honorable with all and continually treated others with great respect. While being a private man, he demonstrated his love for his family and others by his thoughtful actions and unconditional service.

Robert is survived by his wife, Chris; daughter Cassie (Kelly) Rasmussen, Lehi, UT, granddaughters Kelcee and Kaylee, brother, Stan (Barbara) Littlefield, Palmyra, UT, the late Mark (Jill Mitchell) Littlefield, Provo, UT, and sister, Carolyn (Scot) Townsend, Mapleton, UT.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Max and Colleen Littlefield and Brother, Mark C. Littlefield.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 6th, 2015, at 11:00am at the LDS church 1998 W 900 N Lehi, UT. A viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday, February 5th at Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main Street Lehi, UT. Interment, Provo City Cemetery. Online guest book at wingmortuary.com.
