James William Green, 65, formerly of Quanah, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, in Dallas.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in The Chapel at Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Joseph Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Quanah Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Smith Funeral Home of Quanah.

James was born Nov. 18, 1950, in Quanah to the late William J.P. “Bill” Green and Ada Lucille Green. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Cromwell, Okla.

Survivors include his mother, Ada Lucille Green of Quanah; his wife, Jo Ann Green of Lancaster; two daughters, Shelley Canon of Lancaster and Amanda Green of McKinney; a stepdaughter, Natalie Lovewell of Cromwell; three brothers, Rick Green of Wichita Falls, Billy Green of Quanah and Charles Green of Quanah; and five grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to First Baptist Church, 601 S. Main St., Quanah, TX 79252.
