Coached and taught for 34 years at White Deer, Petersburg, McLean, Memphis, and Sanford Fritch.When I was an assistant coach at Memphis we were fortunate to win the 1991 State Class A football championship and placed second at the state track meet in 1990 and 1991. At Fritch, we advanced to the playoffs in football 8 of the 14 years I coached there. It has been quite a trip and I enjoyed working with the young men and women I had the privilege of teaching and coaching.I enjoy playing golf and pool.
Renee and I have been married 12 years and she is the best thing that ever happened to me.It is wonderful to be married to your best friend. She teaches Junior and Senior AP English at SFHS and has been named to the State Advisory Council for AP literature.
We love to travel and have been to 38 states together. We have a collection of football stadium pix and refrigerator magnets from roughly 250 colleges. We also have been to all 254 county seats in Texas and have pix of them as well. We enjoy spoiling our grandkids and try to see them as much as we can. I am now working for Lowe's Grocery as a customer service rep, as Renee tells everyone - my job satisfies my 'gift of gab" We are very active members of Franklin St. Church of Christ in Borger where I am the 3rd youngest man in the congregation. I also fill in for our preacher when he is away.
