Upon graduation, I attended Western Michigan University where I received my Bachelors in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. I've worked as an Accountant/Financial Analyst primarily in the healthcare field. Currently, I'm at Corewell Health and have been for 25 years.

I was married in May 1989 to Dale Brewer who is from Galien, MI. He retired as an editor for the newspaper in the St. Joseph/Benton Harbor area. We have two children. Katie lives in Detroit and Jacob lives in St. Joseph.
