Thomas Burns
The NQ boys got together again this year for our annual Spring Luncheon. We gathered on June 11 at the Fox and Hound on Sea Street in Quincy for a fun day of cocktails and a diverse menu. It turns out that June 11 this year was a momentous occasion for our dear friend, Nick Rucky, as he turned 80 years old! I thought to myself, "He must be the oldest member of our group." However, after a little research I found that not to be the case. It is his cousin, WALLY YOUNG, who is the oldest! Wally turned 80 on April 30. And coming up soon will be Ed Leahy on September 1. We wish all of these young men a very happy birthday!
Our next gathering will take place in the second week of December at ALBA in Quincy Square for our annual Holiday Luncheon. Any other male classmates who would like to join us, just send me an email at tjb0496@gmail.com and I will put you on our list.
Here are a couple of pictures of this year's attendees:

Front row: Tom Burns, Ed Wojciechowski, Wally Young, Mickey Gillis, George Clarke, Rich McNeice Back row: John Bonner, Gary De Coste, Nick Rucky, Joe Gildea, Billy Walker, Ed Leahy, Peter Murphy, Don McNally, Marty Butler, Deac Deshler, George Gale.
Please pardon the crouching. If we tried getting on one knee down front it might be near impossible to get back up again!

...And, of course, Nick Rucky and his birthday cake!
We're all looking forward to a great get-together in December!
