Services for Wilbourn Doyle King, 84, Quitman, were held Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Lowe Funeral Home with Brothers Fred Morrow, James Wheat and Arlis Banks officiating.

     Burial was at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Mineola, TX.

     He was born July 21, 1926 in Wood County, TX to the late Lofton A. and Tennie King.  He passed away on August 19, 2010.

     He served in the United States Marine Corps entering the service at the age of 16 with a signed permit from his parents.

     He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mary Elna King and his wife, Freddie Beth King.

     Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law: Wilbourn Doyle and Connie King, Jr. of Grand Prairie and Lofton King II of Warrensburg, MO; daughters and sons-in-law: Jimmye and Steve Chism of Rudy, AR, Katrina and Mike Barton of Salem, IN, Martha and Michael Davis of Van Buren, AR; brother and sister-in-law, Clyde and Francis King of Irving;  sisters, Oleta Stephenson of Abilene and Wilda Langley of McKinney; thirteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
