Dwayne Howle, 77, passed away Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, in Norman, OK.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, in the chapel of Havenbrook Funeral Home with interment in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery of Norman. Arrangements are by Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.

Dwayne was born Feb. 27, 1934, in Yantis, Texas, to Fowler and Stessel (Ross) Howle. He was united in marriage on July 21, 1955 in Denton, Texas, to Patsy Horton.

Dwayne was a sales and service manager in the oil and gas industry for 45 years before retiring in 2006. Dwayne enjoyed playing and watching sports. His favorite teams were the OU Sooners, Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. He loved traveling with his family and some of his favorite places were Eureka Springs, Ark.; New Mexico; and Vallecito, Colo.

Dwayne was looking forward to the coming birth of his great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Bradley Howle; and two brothers, Billy Howle and Norris Howle.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy of the home; two sons, Jeff Howle and wife Millie of Farmington, N.M., and Marty Howle of Norman; one daughter, Paige Osborn of Oklahoma City; one brother, Lee Howle of Dallas; two sisters, Marcine White of Quitman, Texas, and Wanda Hawkins of DeKalb, Texas; five grandchildren, Whitney Howle (Lynne), Tyler Howle and wife Anna, Derek Osborn, Margot Howle and Sidney Osborn; Keith Osborn; Elizabeth Kendall; and a host of family and friends
