Harold Richard Williams

Harold Richard Williams, born August 5, 1937, in Wood County, Texas, to Gordon Richard and Foy Woods Williams.  He transferred to heaven on Tuesday, February 17, 2015.

Richard met Wanda Dobbs at Mount Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church and married her (after she grew up), June 21, 1959. He is a graduate of Quitman HS, TJC, TEXAS A&M, Commerce, retiring from Sears management after 33 years service. They returned to Pine Mills, 1998 to the Dee Lee Angus Farm, Dobbs Lake, to tend cattle, fish, and entertain family, long time friends, and new friends from Holly Brook Baptist Church. Richard was ordained as a deacon at Casa View Baptist Church, Dallas, where he served in numerous capacities. His favorite duty as Choir President was to assign choir member seats and “March” them into the sanctuary. He held several positions at Holly Brook, as well as serving on the Deacon Board.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents and his in-laws, Dewitt and Leora Dobbs.

He is survived by his “dumplin”, Wanda of 55+ years; son Keith Richard Williams and wife, Teresa, Gillette, Wyoming; daughter Kayle K Godinez and husband Rafael, Dallas; daughter Kristina Ann Krause and husband Danny, Austin. He also treasured grandsons: Kyle Williams and Ryan Williams and wife, Brooke of Gillette Wyoming, Austin M. Jones, Dallas; granddaughters: Lindsey M. Kalb and husband Greg, Austin, Carrie Elizabeth Jones, Houston, Cassie Williams, Gillette, Wyoming, Kenady Ellen Alexandra Krause and Victoria Joy Elizabeth Krause, Austin; grandsons: Nick Godinez, Christopher Godinez, Jonathan Godinez and wife Michelle, Dallas; great granddaughter Lauren Elizabeth Kalb, Austin and Great grandson, Ryker Keith Williams, Gillette Wyoming.

In addition, he is survived by his brother, Kenneth Williams and wife, Gay Nell, Quitman; sister Barbara
