After graduation in 1957, I attended Tyler Junior College for a one-year secretarial course and remained at TJC working for 38 years until I retired in 1996 as secretary to the President and Board of Trustees. Upon retirement the Board of Trustees honored me with the establishment of the Maxene Robinson Presidential Scholarship for students attending TJC.
I am an active member of First United Mehodist Church.
I continue to enjoy my time with reading, staying up late, sleeping late, working the Sudoku puzzles, playing free cell and solitaire on the computer and watching ball games on TV.
