Paula Kathleen Bailey

Funeral services for Mrs. Paula Kathleen Bailey, 77 of Quitman are scheduled for 10 A. M. Saturday May 18 at Forest Hill Baptist Church with Brothers Fred Morrow and Don Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow at Clover Hill Cemetery in Wood County.  Visitation will be held Friday, May 17 at Lowe Funeral Home in Quitman from 6 to 8 P.M.

Paula was born February 13, 1942 in Urania, LA to Leon and Frances Britton Lee and died May 14, 2019 in Tyler, TX.  She moved to East Texas in 1945 and lived most of her life in Wood County. She was a homemaker and a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mary Lee Johnston.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 60 years, Doyle Ray Bailey, Quitman; sons David Bailey and wife Lesa, Mineola and Jeff Bailey and wife Jennifer, Mt. Pleasant; brothers Johnny Lee, Carthage and Joe Lee, Quitman; 8 grandchildren: Bethany Bailey, John David Gibson, Breanna Bailey, Hannah Bailey, Rachel Bailey, David Harris, Scott Harris and Chelsea Crisp; 8 great grandchildren: BaeLynn, Khale, Kynlee, Lilly, Cohen, Zane, Dawson and Maverick; several nieces, nephew, cousins and extended family.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kyle Lee, John David Gibson, Josh Kuhlman, Scott Harris, David Harris and Colton Crisp.  Tyler Reed will serve as honorary pallbearer.
